Hui Yee has severe, chronic allergic blepharoconjunctivitis and limbitis in both eyes. The condition is easily exacerbated by enviromental allergens and contaminants. She needs regular medical follow up and multiple eye medications, including steroid eyedrops, on a long-term basis.

In my opinion, it is medically in advisable for her to take part in the National Service programme owing to her eye condition.
